Privacy
We run one form and one mailing list. This page explains everything that happens to what you type into it.
What we collect
Only what the application form asks for:
- Your name
- so we know what to call you.
- Your email address
- so we can tell you our decision.
- Up to three optional links
- profiles or sites you chose to share.
- What you're building
- in your own words, up to 300 characters.
- Your current stage
- one option from the list on the form.
- What you're looking for
- the options you ticked.
- Two optional answers
- what you could contribute, and something you learned the hard way.
We don’t ask for a password, a resume, a business plan, your revenue or your funding. There is no account to create.
Why we collect it
To review your application, to email you the outcome, and to understand what the people in this community actually need so we can build the right thing. That’s the whole list.
Where it goes
Into our own database, readable by an admin panel that only we can sign in to. Your email address is also passed to the email provider that delivers our messages. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a marketing list.
Nothing you write is published. If we ever want to quote something you said, we’ll ask you first.
Tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It makes no requests to third parties at all — even the font is served from this domain. When you submit the form our server briefly holds your IP address in memory to stop the same machine submitting hundreds of applications. It isn’t written to the database and it isn’t linked to your application.
How long we keep it
Applications we accept are kept while you’re part of the community. Applications we decline are kept for up to twelve months, in case you reapply and we want the context. After that they’re deleted.
Your choices
Email hello@thelostfounder.in and we’ll send you a copy of what we hold, correct anything that’s wrong, or delete it entirely. No form, no process — just ask, and we’ll confirm when it’s done.
Changes
If this changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, we’ll email everyone who has applied. We won’t quietly rewrite this page.
