Phase 0 — Founding community
Lost doesn’t mean
finished.
A social network for founders who build, fail, learn and build again.
You don’t need to have succeeded.
You just need to be building.

The premise
The internet loves the finished story. We want the story while it’s still happening.
What you usually see
- We raised $2M.
- We hit $100k MRR.
- We just launched.
- We're hiring.
What we want to see
- I spent 8 months building this. Nobody paid.
- Here's what I got wrong.
- This experiment failed.
- I'm stuck between these two decisions.
- What would you do?
The Lost Founder is built for the second column.
Building in public
Build in public. With people who get it.
You can post your journey to thousands of strangers. But sometimes you don’t need thousands of eyes. You need five people who understand what you’re building.
People who are somewhere on the same road:
- Validating
- Building
- Launching
- Growing
- Pivoting
- Rebuilding
The goal isn’t to perform your journey. It’s to learn while you’re building it.
Less audience.More community.
These aren’t spectators. They’re builders too.
The people
Your people exist. They’re just scattered.
Most people don’t have the circle they want to grow with. Not because those people don’t exist. They just haven’t found each other yet.
The Lost Founder brings founders and builders together around things that actually matter:
Don’t just ask. Contribute.
Everyone comes with something. Maybe it’s technical expertise, growth experience, design knowledge, customer research, lessons from a failed startup, a useful introduction, or honest feedback.
The goal isn’t to create a community full of people asking for help. It’s to create a community where people help each other.
Where we are
The platform isn’t ready yet. That’s okay.
- The gap represents uncertainty.
- The direction represents purpose.
- The move represents progress.
We’re starting with the people before we start with the software.
For now, accepted members join our private community on Discord. There, founders and builders can meet each other, share what they’re working on, ask for feedback, document progress, talk through problems and help each other.
We’re using this early community to learn what The Lost Founder should become.
